Whole House Tankless Water Heater.
One of the most powerful electric tankless water heaters on the market, this four element water heater is configured for cold climates where the incoming water temperature can drop below 50 F.
Models 220/240 are well suited to homes in the northern U.S. and Canada, and those in thesouthern U.S. that have large Roman-style or Jacuzzi tubs and that have generally more demanding water usage needs.

1. Electronics and Computer Chip. The brains og the system... sophisticated electronics control the power output of the heating elements based on flow rate and other parameters to precisely regulate the output water temp.

2. User Temperature Controls. Simplicity at its finest! Set it and forget it - use the simple push button controls to raise or lower the temperature setting of your unit. An LED light bar lets you know the power level you have the unit set for.

3. Sensors. A series of sensors monitor water flow rates and temperatures at various points throughout the unit to communicate vital information to the computer chip.

4. Bus Bar handles the incoming wiring from the electrical sub-pane that is supplied with the unit. For your convenience, ONLY SETS SYSTEMS ENSURES THAT the wires that connect the tankless water heater to the electrical sub-panel are properly wired to the bus bar when you recieve your unit.

5. Flow Switch - The NASA designed Sets Patented flow switch senses changes in water flow rates and Is used to regulate temperature and control activation of the water heater when your hot water faucet is turned on, and deactivation when it is turned off.

image6. Heating Elements - The braun of the system... a series of very high power heating elements used to heat the water as it passes through the heating chambers. The heating elements are coated to resist dissolved materials such as calcium (hard water) and iron.

image7. Thermal Protection - Each heating element is protected by its own automatic thermal limit switch which will turn ogg the heating element if a potentially unsafe water output temperature is reached (140F). This reduces the risk for scalding injuries and protects the unit from damage in the event of a power surge or other unusual event.

image8. Aluminum Case - No messing around with cheap plastics here! The whole package is housed in a silid heat - resistant aluminum case, thereby protecting internal components from dust, debris and physical damage. The aluminum case also features a built-in mounting bracket to securely fix the unit to the wall at all four corners.

image9. Heating chambers - Once again, no plastics here! The heating chambers are the heart of SETS Tankl hey are made of copper and brass welded together with silver manufactured by hand to ensure precision.

A tank water heater stores and heats water based on a thermostat setting. This type of water heater consumes energy throughout the day to maintain the stored hawater heated in case you need hot water. Throughout the day as the water looses temperature (heat Loss) the water heater elements turn on and consume energy to keep the stored water heated. A tank water heater normally has two heating elements rated at 4500 watts each, of which one of them will turn on or off to heat and maintain the water stored in the tank to the pre set thermostat setting usually 120-140 F degrees. In addition anytime hot water is being used the elements turn on and consume energy. They consume energy even after you have finished using hot water since as hot water leaves the tank, cold water is coming in thereby reducing the overall stored water temperature in the tank.

The SETS system does not store hot water and only consumes energy when a hot water tap is opened.  It heats the water as it flows through the system, thereby offering energy savings of up to 50% off your water heating bills.

Do it yourself network featured our product in Weekend Handyman; the show was filmed in Minnesota – December 2003.

This segment was based on replacing an existing conventional natural gas tank heater to a SETS Model 220.

The segment took the viewer through a complete switch out of the old tank to the installation of the SETS tankless water heater. It covered the step-by-step installation and more.

The incredible energy savings, unlimited hot water and as these picture reveal the INCREDIBLE SPACE SAVINGS the SETS Tankless water heater offers.
